London´s diary
First day (21st October)
First day we met at the airport in Prague. We were in a
good mood. We checked in our baggages and went through passport and security
control. Milan had to take off his shoes because he seemed to be suspicious J!
While we were flying we had some snack. When we arrived a privite minibus was
waiting for us, so we travelled to Central London. We got off at Trafalgar
Square and then we went to Buckingham Palace. We took the pictures of the
palace and went to St. James Park where we found squirrels, geese, ducks and
pelicans. It was starting to get dark so we were walking towards Big Ben which
was shining from the distance together with London Eye in blue colour. We took
the bus again and went to Wallington railway station, our meeting point, where
our new families picked us up. Our family was great.

Second day (22nd October)
We got up
at about 6:40 London
time. We had breakfast and our “substitute
mum” J drove us to the meeting point. We
took the train to London Victoria station. Then we travelled by
overcrowded underground. Next we visited Saint Paul Cathedral. After we went
across the Millennium
Bridge and we visited the
modern gallery, called the Tate. Next we went along the river Thames around Belfast , a ship from the
2nd WW. In the afternoon we went shopping to Oxford Street . When we wanted to go back
home by underground we found out that it was closed because of many passangers.
So we had to walk to Victoria
station. It was about 2
miles and we were very tired. When we finally arrived,
we waited on the platform sitting on the ground J for about 30 minutes. When the train arrived
we boarded very quickly because we wanted to have a seat. We were in Wallington
at about 7.45 p.m. Our families picked us up there.

Third day (23rd October)
We met at the meeting point and we were ready to leave
Wallington. We went to Victoria Station by train. From Victoria Station we
walked to see London Eye and London Dungeon. From there we went by ship to
Greenwich to see the Cutty Sark and the Maritime Museum. It was a very nice
weather. We were walking in the park and having „fish and chips“. From there we
went by overrail without a driver to Shadwel. After we had to change at West
Croydon and finally we got to our meeting point ready for the last night.

Last day (24th October)
On Friday, our last day in England, we had a meeting point at
Wallington train station at 8 o‘clock. After that we went to Picadilly Circus by bus where we had some
time for doing the shopping. Then we went by bus to the airport. When we arrived at the airport we went throught the
security and passport control and everything was fine J! Our
flight was very short and pleasant but not very quiet because of 4 little
babies who were crying all the time. After we landed, we went throught the control
again and after that finally we could go home.
This trip was very nice and useful, living with English
family was very rich experience. Now I hope I will visit this country
again.
